She had siblings Edith Blanche Curtis, Osmond Harold Curtis, Amy Florence (Curtis) Chiffey, and Addison Bethel Curtis. She married Thomas Henderson in 1912, and had children Miriam Jean Henderson, Alex Henderson, Thomas John Henderson, Maxwell Harold Henderson, and Raymond Henderson. Ruby Henderson died at age 73 years old on March 1, 1969 in Avoca, Pyrenees Shire County.
