Rucker William Linze 1916 - 1984

Rucker William Linze of Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho United States was born on October 3, 1916 in Newburg, Phelps County, MO to William Edward Linze and Laura Alice Gabel. He had a brother Charles Linze. He was in a relationship with Violet Lorrine (Ireland) Nelson beginning 1947 and they later separated in 1968. He had children Patricia Ver Haar, Kelly Linze, Shirley Linze, Ed Linze, Almon Linze, John Linze, and Laura Linze. Rucker Linze died at age 67 years old on September 1, 1984 in Caldwell, Canyon County, ID, and was buried on October 4, 1984 at Canyon Hill Cemetery 2024 N Illinois Ave, in Caldwell.

Linze, 67, of Caldwell, who died Saturday, Sept. 1, at Caldwell of natural causes, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell. Lt. Brian Aird of the Salvation Army, Caldwell, will officiate, under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. He was born Oct. 3, 1916, at Newburg, Mo., and was reared and educated there. He moved to Caldwell in the early 1930s. During the war, he worked with the Civilian Conservation Corp. He married Violet Ireland in 1947 at Missouri. They were later divorced. He had worked as a railroad lineman for several years, and had also worked at the Idaho State School and Hospital at Nampa. In 1968, he moved to St. Louis, Mo., where he worked at a hotel for several years. In 1978, he returned to Caldwell because of ill health, to be near his family. He is survived by four sons, Edward Linze, Almon Linze, John Linze, and Kelly Linze, all of Caldwell; two daughters, Shirley McGinley and Laura Linze, both of Caldwell; one brother, Charles Linze of Rolla, Mo.; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Patricia Sue, a brother, and two grandchildren.
