    Ruth Elizabeth Preston is Patricia Lee Frelick's mother. Lee is a secondary last name in Ruth Elizabeth's family line. Ruth worked for Mr. Valter Poole a violist, director and assistant conductor of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra during WWII by copying his orchestral music. Musicians, artists, and writers were offered employment under the Federal Arts Project, a division of the WPA. Ruth could play piano by pitch memory. She was also an artist and desired to work with the Disney Company as a cartoon illustrator, but she was busy raising five children after 1941! Ruth was multi talented and never saw her true potential due to an early death. Like her daughter, she too suffered from debilitating autoimmune disease and heart defects. She is deeply loved and missed by her daughter Patricia. Research history link;
