My precious grandmother Ruth M. (Mae) Hydle was not 'born' into the Hydle family but rather she married my grandfather Oscar D. Hydle, a full blooded German immigrant and took on his name. She was originally a Sabines of Canadian French descent. they met in Alabama after my grandmother crossed Look Out Mountain on horse and buggy with her family as they were migrating South relocating from Nova Scotia. They married at a very early age when she was 12 and he was 14 years old. They had 9 children before she was 30, each about 2 years apart. My grandmother was a faithful Christian, baptized in Jesus Christ's name and filled with the Holy Ghost, and her soul is resting in Paradise with Jesus even now.
