  • Introduction

    Mrs. Ruth (Robbin) Lafley, her husband Owen, and their 2 daughters, (Robin) and (?) were friends of my parents, Eben and Lois Thompson in the 60s through 80s. We'd often visit, and enjoyed Mrs. Lafleys handmade lollipops. Mr. Owen Lafley (owned or managed) a local filling station, and when we visited, it was the only time I remember my dad sharing a couple of beers with a friend. I have a lovely photograph of my mother and Ruth Lafley talking in their backyard, and hope this photo will eventually find its way to her 2 daughters. --Rita (Thompson) Wilde
