Great grandmother
Ruth Ruby (known as Ruby) is my great grandmother on my father’s father’s side. Sadly she passed away due to complications during child birth in 1925, baby also passed away and have not found any records regarding the child. She left behind 3 children, a son Theodore Thomas born 1915 (known as Tom), a daughter Olive Leah Grace born 1921 and my grandfather Clarence Keith Irwin born 1922 - the 2 latter childrens father is William Benjamin Bailey. All three children were raised by their grandmother Rachel Debrah Hilda (known as Hilda) as William was wheelchair bound due to polio complications and Theodore Thomas’ father was not “identified” until later years - Ruby had had an affair with her stepfather Thomas Ainsworth Senior - yes every family has their naughty secrets!
