S.d. Lyles of Gallatin, Sumner County, TN was born on October 6, 1932 to Thurman Lyles and Vanna Ruth Ellen Johnson Lyles Key. He had a sibling Patsy Ann Lyles Anderson. He married Frances Louise Slayton Lyles, and had children Beverly Starr Lyles, Theresa Christine Lyles Lee, and Ricky Dean Lyles. S.d. Lyles died at age 72 years old on March 22, 2005 at Executive House Apartments in Gallatin, and was buried at Roberts Tabernacle Cemetery 1801 Fairfield Rd, in Westmoreland.
