    My father Salvador S. Rico was a loving and helpful man of GOD.. he did what he love to do... Until the last days of his life. He was a Pastor most of his older life.. He was ALWAYS smiling and helpful to many people in the community in Altus, Oklahoma. City. He was in the Navy.. When he was younger . Got married to my mother in San Antonio Texas. Later divorce. And started his SPIRITUAL JOURNEY on his own.. All... I know.. is that he was a good man and very respectful to others. He was lay to rest.. at the military cemetery with a 21 gun Sault๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ and we handed his FLAG๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธto our grandma Betty Rico that has lift to be with her children and great... great grandchildren... in Heaven.. my 5 other children๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ™ that have lift to meet with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.๐Ÿ™ I love you my sweet grandma Rico. I know they aren't alone in Heaven.๐Ÿ’ž I miss you'll.. so much too. ๐Ÿ˜ข ๐Ÿ’” My beautiful Angels on flight๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’– Love ALWAYS Jojo Rico๐Ÿ’ž

In 1945, in the year that Salvador Rico was born, on August 15th, Imperial Japan announced its surrender. On September 2nd, a formal agreement of surrender was signed. Japan and nine other states signed the Japanese Instrument of Surrender in Tokyo Bay, calling for the return of all Allied prisoners of war and subordinating the authority of the emperor and the Japanese government to the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers. VJ (Victory in Japan) Day was celebrated in the United States on August 14th and 15th. World War II was over.
