Salvatore Garrotto was born in 1883 at Carlentini, Sicily, Italy to Paolo Garrotto and Maria Nigro, and had siblings Frank Garrotto, Alfio Garrotto, Sebastiana Quattrocchi, Lucia Raneri, Guiseppina Sorrentino, and Carmela Quattrocchi Zarbano. He married Louisa Garrotto, and had children Paul N Garrotto, Michael Angelo Garrotto, Mary Garrotto, Nellie Todero, and Alfred F Garrotto. Salvatore Garrotto died at age 76 years old in 1959 at San Mateo, CA.
