Introduction

My father married Mary F. Rafala, also from Middletown, CT. Though their marriage was not approved by her parents, they went on to raise a family of eight children (me being the youngest), in Hartford CT,. My dad worked for the city of Hartford, until his retirement, when he and my mom moved to Somers CT. to be closer to their children and their grandchildren. My Dad loved his family, loved his gardening, and taught me his golden rule of keeping your nose clean and don't take s*** from anyone. That is a synopsis of my dad, who I adore to this day.

He was my dad, he worked hard for his family, he did everything for his family and I am so proud to be this eight kidf and the one who got to be named for him.
