Sammy C Andasola was born on April 26, 1928 in New Mexico to parents Dolores Andasola (1900-1968) and Petra “Patsy” Chacon (1904-1990). He had siblings inlcuding Carmen Esteher (1921-2004), Trinidad (1923-1993), Billy Emmett (1924-1994), Stephen Blas (1932-2006), George A (1934-2009), and Edward Andasola (1936-1982). They lived in Central, Grant, New Mexico, USA and Sammy moved to Denver, Colorado in 1935. Sammy enlisted into the Air Corps on March 7, 1946 in Fort Logan Colorado. He was a private and enlisted for the Hawaiian Department. On April 21, 1951 he married Christine Sandoval in Denver, CO.
