He married Zelma Sue 32 years ago He has one biological daughter Stephanie and three step children Shawn ,July, and Kay . He also had one biological grandson Jackson and two step grandchildren Alex with her two children which made Sam a proud great grandfather,And Bret who is in the Marines. He worked for Alvin Independent School District for eight years as Master Plumber for whole school district. He is missed greatly and loved by all
