    Samuel Kaitz was born to parents Morris Kaitz and Mary Bazer. He was white of Russian/Ukrainian roots. His mother Mary was born on May 18, 1895 in Odessa, Ukraine. She immigrated to the US arriving in New York., NY on December 15, 1912. She married Morris on October 19, 1914 in Lynn, Essex, Massachusetts, USA. The couple was married by Rabbi D. Kobrin. They resided in Brookline, Norfolk, Massachusetts, USA and Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. She passed away in January of 1968 in Newton, MA. His father Morris was born on July 15, 1894 in Wolyn, poland, Russia. His name was Moshka Tkatch. He immigrated to the states in 1911 and resided in Lynn, Massachusetts, USA and Brookline, Massachusetts, USA where he worked as a builder and contractor. He passed away in 1955 in Newton, MA.

    He was a high school and college graduate, completing 4 years in each.
