She had siblings William Blair, Margaret Blair, and William Crowther Blair. She married James Chapman in 1888, and had children William James Chapman and Cyril Ronald Chapman. Sarah Chapman died at age 31 years old on October 17, 1898 at Brazier St, in Eaglehawk, Greater Bendigo City County.
