Sarah Jane Aston ( Jeffs 1839 - 1908

Sarah Jane (Jeff) Aston of Brighton Australia was born on July 19, 1839 in Brighton, VIC to Jonas Jeffs and Frances Sarah (Thrupp) Jeffs. She had siblings Alfred Edmond Jeffs, Annie Maud Jeffs, Emma Ann Wright, Mary Eliza Kitchingman, and Frances Woodroffe. She married Thomas Fuller Aston, and had a child Charles Henry Montague Aston. Sarah Aston died at age 69 years old in 1908 in Brighton.

    The Argus, Melbourne, February 1908. ASTON.- On the 10th February, 1908, passed peacefully away, at "Waratah," Middle Brighton (residence of her daughter, Mrs. W. Woodroffe), Sarah Jane, relict of the late Thomas Fuller Aston, eldest daughter of the late J. Jeffs, of Winchelsea, and sister of Mesdames Kitchingman, Hale Woodroffe, (the late Nunweek and Wright ), and Annie and Alfred E. Jeffs.
