Sarah Plaisted (Lithgow) Muir was born in 1853 to Edward Francis Lithgow and Mary Ann (Brooks) Scott, and had siblings Edward Francis Lithgow, Mary Jane ( Lithgow) Cobbin, and Alice (Lithgow) Massey. She married John Muir, and had a child Ellen Maud Muir. Sarah Muir died at age 61 years old on February 21, 1915 in Brunswick East, City of Moreland County, VIC Australia.
