    Sebastian Emanual Lanotte is the son of Giuseppe Lanotte (born 1886) and Pasqua Cusamano (1895-1977). He was born on September 5, 1925 in New York City and had a brother, Roger Lanotte (1916-2000), He joined the United States Army Air Corps on September 5, 1944 ( his 19th birthday) and served until March 27, 1946. He is a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Sebastian married Gertrude Julia Cantalupo (1928-1998) on June 4, 1947 in New York City. They had sons Peter (1950-1980) Sebastian Lanotte (1957-1994), and Joseph, and a daughter Karen.
