This story is based on a handwritten manuscript of true-to-life events of the colorful, compelling, and powerful story of Love and War, happened during the era of World War 11 in the Philippines. The manuscript (I will call “Blue Book”) was handwritten by my father, Mr. Severino T. Amo, over sixty five years ago, just a year or so after the end of World War 11.
