Shalom Cohen was born in 1762 in Aleppo Syria. He was married to Najimah Simcha (Nissim) Cohen in 1799 in Calcutta, Bengal India, and they were together until Shalom's death in 1836. Shalom Cohen had a child Hannah (Cohen) Kirkpatrick.
