Introduction

Shane Gonsalves was my loving and caring dad, who was always there for me. He was a very sweet man who deserved much more time than he got. Although he wasn't my dad for very long, he was everything I could have ever asked for. He was a hard worker who was always trying his best to support his family, which included a fiance with two kids (including me). Shane Gonsalves has touched everybody's lives in a special way, and there is not a day that goes by where I don't think of him. Rest in peace to my wonderful dad, I love you.

Shane T. Gonsalves Mar. 21, 1976-Aug. 18, 2011 Resident of Newark Shane T. Gonsalves, entered into rest on August 18, 2011, at the age of 35. Shane is survived by his parents Joe and Ligia Gonsalves; brothers Michael and Anthony; fiance Amy Maciel, and daughters Alyssa and Dorianna. He was a wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephews; Joey, Anabella, Lexi, Angelique and Alex. Caring cousin, grandson, brother, godfather, nephew and friend to so many. He will be greatly missed. How does one say good bye to someone who made such a difference in the lives of many? He was born on March 21, 1976 in Hayward. He was a very loving, caring and generous man, that loved to be around family. His parents were the world to him. He always made sure he provided for his family and was a very hard worker. Shane always strived to achieve his goal and never gave up till he made it happen. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 24th, from 9am-11am, with a Chapel Service at 11am, at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, 94536. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.
