The following appeared in the Chattanooga Times Free press in August 1997. Sharon Elaine Sharp Mclemore of Rossville Georgia, died Saturday August 2nd 1997 at her daughter's residence. She was 42. She was a lifelong resident of North Georgia area. She was preceded in death by her father Lamuel Sharp. Survivors include her husband Spencer Ray Mclemore Jr. of Rossville Ga. Mother, Rebecca Ann Sewell of Chattanooga stepfather Johnny Sewell of Chattanooga, 2 daughters, Christy Gravitt of Chickamauga and Julie Cothren of Chickamauga. Son Joseph Gifford of Rossville, 3 brothers Michael Sharp of Ooltewh, Steve and Tim sharp of Chattanooga And 5 grandchildren services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, August 5th at W.L. Wilson and Sons funeral home in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Burial will follow in Tennessee Georgia memorial park. The family will receive friends all day today at the funeral home.
