She had a brother Warren Edward Smith. She married William John Buntenbach, and had children William John Buntenbach Jr, Charles Robert Buntenbach, Debra Lee (Buntenbach) Wieber, Sharon Ann (Buntenbach) Drennan, and James Taylor Buntenbach. Shirlee (Shirley Was Birth Name ) Buntenbach died at age 73 years old on June 2, 2005 at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, and was buried on June 5, 2005 at Town of Maine Cemetery 2101 W Touhy Ave, in Park Ridge.
