This lovely woman was my Grandma. I didn't get to know her for long since she died when I was five. I do, however, still remember bits and pieces of her. She was always kind and loving to her grandkids, but she had a fierce side to her. She had died on the fourth of July and I still remember my mom saying Grandma was enjoying the fireworks from the sky. She was taken from us too soon but she will always live on in our hearts. I'm sad I didn't get to know her longer but I'm glad to have called her Grandma.
