Shirley J Boecher Tyree Obituary
Shirley Tyree, age 76, of Austin, Texas, formerly of McKinney, Texas, passed away August 7, 2014, in Austin. Shirley was born June 2, 1938, in Port Byron, Illinois, to John Henry and Doris Bernice (Breitenstein) Boecher. She married William Wayne Tyree on April 21, 1990, in McKinney, Texas. Shirley was a member of Creekwood United Methodist Church in Allen, Texas.
She is survived by her daughters, Margo Cox and husband, Charlie of San Jose, California, Sharon Martin and partner, Marcia Cades of Austin, Texas, and Marie Wendell and husband, Phil, also of Austin; grandchildren, Susie Kenedy, Michael Arechiga, and Michelle Arechiga-Marks, all of California, Justin Shaffer of McKinney, Texas, Terah Shaffer of Frisco, Texas, Zachary Wendell and Allison Wendell, both of Austin, Texas, Beth Talebi of North Carolina, and Missy Fannin of Georgia; seven great-grandchildren; and niece Vicki Levins of McKinney, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wayne"Bill" Tyree and daughter, Rebecca Diane "Becky"(Martin)Shaffer.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 10, 2014, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Saturday evening at the funeral home.
