Brief overview of Simon Gallett (aka Billy White): My Uncle Simon who fought under the name Billy White was ranked number 4 worldwide in the lightweight category in 1926. He fought out of Jersey City, NJ. Two or three of his brothers as well were boxers. He led a colorful life and expired at the race track with a losing ticket in his hand.
His son Robert Gallett (adopted) has provided me an interesting anecdotal record of his dad, which I intend to share at a later date.
