SINA my beloved cousin was a romantic loving and most real guy in our family. When all of a sudden sina told me to hit the breaks and so I did .
I was one feet away from running this old man who was standing in the middle of the street throwing his son up in the air and showing his affections . The car came to a stop and what happened next went over my head. Sina got out of the car and the old man started running up the Ave with sina only 19 chasing him. The man own a bar called hos breath and sina followed him there and came back to the car and I asked him what was that all about and he smile with that beautiful smile and said I got Mr Clint Eastwood signature. Now I had never seen all those western spaghetti es like raw hide and the good and the bad and the ugly so I had no clue at all. But I know one thing sina saved Eastwood life and his sons life by telling me to stop in time since I was driving fast and the son had blinded my eyes and the dude was in the middle of the street. Wow by the age 19 my cosine sina had already saved 3 lives that I know of . This happened in early 80s in carmel. Years later sina died from scleroderma and auto immune deals that one out of a million males get. However before he died much earlier time when him and I were racing cars
In the hills of carmel valley his car went off a cliff and I stopped and got out of the car and went to see but I was chicken sit worrying about his exploding so did not go to help him as matter of fact I turned my back and started to leave when I heard sins voice saying cousin mehdi don't go I am OK and sure he was and so kind and did not even call me chicken or anytime he had such empathy for people and now when I look back realize. One day he played me pill Collins song that said I have seen you before and this time if you were drowning I would not lend a hand. At that time it did not even register in dull mind what the song was about since I had no guilt feelings at all and now when I look back
I wish I had half the love and devotion and emotion that sina had to been better person. They always say the good die young.
Anyways this is how clue less I was a year after sina saved Eastwood life I went to carmel with a college friend and this old drunk ran in to us and said do you were buds pub is and we thought he was silly drunk which he was and he said well if you don't know then follow me and we followed him and he entered buds pub which was his own place and who do I see Eastwood on Friday night with his head buried in his beer so we sat at the other table then bud told the bartender get my friends anything they want and we asked for beer and then he said Clint get up from your a** and join my friends here. I still did not seen any of his movies so he came and stared at me for a goog 10 minutes of silence and I was speechless too and then we left I wonder if Eastwood put 2 and 2 together and figured out I was the dumb a** who almost ran him and his son over. Well I will never know but I know one dam thing and that is sina had saved my life his life and his son thank you sina I don't think I ever did I love you and I am thinking about you and my other cousin hamid that died on valentine's day and I miss my two dearest brothers blood line and all.
