On the National Archives of Australia you can do a Record Search - Name Search.
Select All Categories - and there is an Immigration and Naturalisation file for Skaidrite there.

You can ask for the file to be opened so you can view it online or pay, have it printed off in color by NAA and mailed to you.
It is worth getting the file. It will have photos, handwriting. all the places they lived moving about DP camps in Europe, comments written by the DP's themselves stating why they can't return to Latvia. Photos too.
