He married Marian Grace Gulden Matwiejczyk, and had children Marian Ann Matwiejczyk Montgomery, Ph.D. (Mrs. Barry) and Thomas William Matwiejczyk. Stanley Matwiejczyk died at age 58 years old on May 4, 1979 at 93 Bustleton Pike, in Churchville, Pennsylvania United States, and was buried in May 1979 at Almshouse Road, in Richboro.

  • Introduction

    Stanley Matwiejczyk was the first born son of Joseph and Pauline Matwiejczyk who were married in June, 1920. They had each come to the Camden/Philadelphia area as immigrants from Poland. Stanley was gifted with mechanical ability and could fix almost anything. He contributed to his adopted hometown through volunteer work as a fire man with the Northampton Township Volunteer Fire Company. He worked to ensure that his two children would receive a formal education and have better job opportunities than he had. He enjoyed classical music, in particular organ music and sang in his church choir until his children were born.
