Tadeusz Lipdki, Father of Stefan Lipski, Born in Poland
This is Stefan's dad he was from Poland. He escaped from a concentration swimming upstream in the 'vieght river'? Everybody but tadeusz died, Because him and another man were in the very back of the pit they all had dug , they made the people strip all their clothes off and began machine gunning down the prisoners and my Father in law took off running both Ted and the other man made it to the "WHITE ??" RIVER, TADAUSZ dived in swimming upstream the water becoming cloudy white from the bottom silt. The other man also made it and dived in but went downstream and sadly he was spotted and shot. But Tad knew his only chance was to go to the deep and swim upstream and he hid naked in the cold river til it was dark he then ran naked and frozen til he made it to a farm where he knew the family as he grew up in that area they helpped him to the Polish underground army. He said the murdered his whole family he never found anyone ever. He married a woman named Bridgette he met her in Germany, Rammstein AFB I think they had 3 children Edward, Stefan Franchesca. He became an interpreter for the US military so when the war was over he was able to come to America as he was not able to go home to Poland and learned all his siblings and parents and grandparents aunts uncles were executed or died in the camps. He was devastated but tried to start a new life here and it went well but sadly his wife died when Stefan was 12 and he stayed olone an raised his kids in Sonoma, California . He worked for the City Of San Rafael, Marin County since he arrived in the US and lived in the same house til he passed away peacefully in his sleep in 1996. I don't know where his other two kids took off to. Stefan and myself met in 1980 and have been together ever since ,well I've never remarried after he passed away December 14, 1996 from an esophageal hemerage and never seen it coming he was just fine he had never been sick ever it was the most saddest thing that has ever happened. He was the best! If you know who HOSS CARTWRIGHT is on the Old TV show Bananza Stefan was A Gentleman GIANT. AND FUNNY AND KIND AND WE BUILT ELEVATORS AND WORKED VERY HARD AND LOVED LIFE. I have to go now I'm sorry I couldn't tell you more but you got something to investigate to help you see more into your history. Oh my one last thing here's his address of the only house he lived in since the early 1960's til 1996 he owned it outright and his daughter sold it for drugs or gambling who knows and Eddie is probably still tryng to sue her for his entitlement. I moved back to Northern Nevada where all my granddaughter and great-granddaughters live. I'm retired and I live in Sparks alone. And there is no gravesite fo my Husband Stefan as I have his ashes with me so when I pass we can be buried together.
