Steve ,was a proud Hungarian german. He was always in a good mood. And he never said no to any of his 9 grand children if they wanted to spend the weekend. He taught each of them to drive by the age of 7-9 and by age 10-11 they knew how to drive a straight stick. He was a great cook his specialty was fried chicken and apple strudel. He liked holiday cooking always a turkey or ham with all the extras. And the whole family would open gifts after Christmas dinner. Ann his wife was a gift giving type the kids always had had a car so full with gifts and leftover food that you hardly could close the doors! They are both very missed by the grandkids and kids who all agree we would do anything for one more Christmas at the farm. Steve became a local celebrity in his last 5 years for his house the was fondly called the cup house. As it was covered with a few thousand cups. He was featured on the local news multiple years and was even the story on the year one year. When interviewed and asked how he did it he said I just took a hammer and nails and started pounding! That was Steve's way tell it in a matter of fact way. Steve we love and miss you so very much, thank you both for the time you spent with the kids and know they do value those days.
