    Father , Denis Kleinrichert, was raised in a farm near Poe, Indiana. His father was Alphonse Kleinrichert. He met and married Canadian Mary Therese Goodman (Kleinrichert) in 1957. Her oarents were James Goodman who emigrated from Ireland, and Dorothy whise family was from England. Denis and Mary had four children: Denise (1958), Joseph(1959), Stephen(1960), and Carolyn (1962). Apparently Alphonse's family came from France/Germany Rhine Valley area, after family possibly moving from Ireland as well.

Later became involved in AFSP raising money and awareness for suicide prevention, along with advocacy in local, state, and national institutions and with political figures at all levels after losing his youngest son, Tyler. Love of camping and the outdoors and the Atlanta Braves.
