Stephen Leake was born in 1779 in Dutchess County, New York United States to Thomas Leek and Lydia Leek, and had a brother Isaac Leake. He married Eleanor Gadge, and they had children David Zeno Leake, Daniel Leake, and Abraham Leake. He was the parent of Daniel Leake, and Abraham Leake. Stephen Leake died at age 78 years old in 1857.
