Abraham Leake was born in 1801 in Dutchess County, New York United States to Stephen Leake, and had a brother Daniel Leake. He married Maria Babcock, and had children William Israel Leake, Amanda E. Leake, John Wesley Leake, Elsie A. Leake, Charles M. Leake, Harriet Leake, and Lucy A. Leake. Abraham Leake died at age 67 years old in 1868 in Jefferson, Jefferson County, WI, and was buried in 1868 at Spring Grove Cemetery in Jefferson.
