    Stephen William Bobiak, Sr., age 86 of Claymont, DE died on January 7, 2009 at Wilmington, Hospital. Born to the late Wasyl and Kathrine Paraschak Bobiak, he was also raised and resided in Chester, PA. Mr. Bobiak served in the Pacific Theater in the Army during WWII. He has resided the past 50 years in Claymont, DE. A Machinist for Scott Paper retiring in 1985, he was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, he was endlessly devoted to his family, treasuring time spent with his many loved ones. Preceded in death by wife Geneieve Mieczkowski Bobiak who died in 1982 and 2 sisters, Mary Goralski and Pauline Misturak. He is survived by 3 sons, Stephen W. and wife Carolyn Bobiak Jr., David P. and wife Clare Bobiak and Jason D. and wife Lyn Bobiak of Wilm., DE; 5 grandchildren, Stefan and Sara Bobiak, Shelley Goudy, Brian Bobiak and Pamela Bechtold; and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral service on Saturday, 10am at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Bethel Twp., PA where friends may call from 9-10am. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. Donations in his memory may be made to American Heart Association, 625 West Ridge Pike, A-100, Conshohocken, Pa 19428-1190. [published 01/08/2009]
