Art Professor Emeritus Steven D. Fuller, '39, '48, died July 24, after having served the UW for more than 35 years. After obtaining his B.A. and M.F.A. degrees from the UW and serving in World War II in Alaska and Nagasaki, he joined the art school faculty. His main area of interest was 3-D design. He was a pioneer in the Northwest art glass movement and was responsible for the establishment of classes in glass design, firing and annealing. He retired in 1981. He was 88.
