Subedar Partab Singh of 92nd Punjabis had died on 22nd February 1917 while serving in Mesopotamia. Earlier,he was awarded Indian order of merit for his bravery in the action of 22nd April 1916. He had one son, who was an Agriculturist, and 3 grandsons. Of the three, two reside in Canada, each with one son and one daughter. The other, who has passed away, and had lived in India, had one son (living in Canada) and three daughters.
