Her brother Tony is the actor Tony Shaloub, who may be most famous for the television show "Monk" and the Amazon Prime series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel". Susan grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin and attended school there at St Joseph Academy, graduating in 1962. On May 31, 1969 she married James Anthony Larkin in Brown, Wisconsin and they went on to have 3 sons together, Chris, Joseph "Joe", and Anthony "Tony" Larkin.
