    Sylvester Trawick was my father. He was born in Frisco City, Alabama. The birth date and death date is correct. He married Mary Lou Woods(not sure of date), but believe it was Nov. 19, 1940. Mary was born in Huxford, Alabama. She is Poarch Creek Indian. They had 3 daughters, Shelby La"jean b: 12/17/1942, Charlotte Lorraine( b: 08/18/1946-d:03/29/2008, and Linda Susan b:01/19/1949., all Poarch Creek Indian. Sylvester and Mary had 10 grandchildren.All Poarch Creek Indian decendants. Sylvester and Mary are buried at Semiah Springs Baptist Church graveyard.

The 18th Amendment established Prohibition - a law against the production, transport, and sale of alcohol. Private consumption and possession were not prohibited. Several months later, the Volstead Act was passed, creating laws to enforce the Amendment. Bootlegging and bathtub gin followed.
