My experience of Sylvia
I went to college at UCSB with Sylvia and we were good friends. I’d like to share an example of the type of person that she is. I was badly injured in my last quarter of college. I was in the hospital in Goleta for a month before I was transferred to another hospital. Sylvia came to see me every single day that I was there and usually 2 times a day. If that doesn’t say everything about Sylvia I don’t know what would. That meant everything to me. I’m still blown away that she did that. She was so young and could easily have been very focused on herself but instead she was there for me. She will always mean the world to me because of it and that’s how I’ll forever remember her.
