Tait Pitkethly of Wickliffe, Ararat Rural City County, VIC Australia was born on August 24, 1856 in Linton to Robert Pitkethly and Jane Chambers Pitkethly. He had siblings William Chalmers Pitkethly, Betson Smith Pitkethly, William Chambers Pithkethly, and David Smith Pitkethly. He married Catherine Robertson Pitkethly in 1877, and had children Jean Chambers Pitkethly, Mary Ann Mckinnon Pitkethly, Robina Christina Pitkethly, Flora Tait Pitkethly, John Angus Pitkethly, Sarah Grace Pitkethly, and Charles Angus David Stanley Pitkethely. Tait Pitkethly died at age 42 years old in 1898 in Wickliffe.
