I sure miss that girl. Tamme lived with me in Manteno, IL when she decided to end her life on a trip to Las Vegas. She was my best friend. I have one picture of her that I treasure. She's been gone so much longer than she was even here and I hope I'm not the only one that remembers her, saw her beauty, her potential, her sense of humor and all the things she wanted and COULD have had in life. For many years I blamed myself for her death, thinking that if I had gone with her maybe she wouldn't have done it. As I got older I understood that I couldn;t have stopped her. I saw all the signs but we were KIDS and I didn't recognize the seriousness of what she was saying to me. I know now that I couldn;t have saved her. I loved her with all my heart, but alas, it wasn't enough.
