Wonderful Neighbor
Mr. Heinoldt and his wife, Margaret, were a lovely couple. They were our neighbors.
He was a bookbinder and had a shop in his old garage. He offered to bind a couple of my books. He did a beautiful job. He liked his brandy, and as a young bride, I did not have much of a stock on alcohol. I made a great recipe that called for Lemon Brandy sauce. I knew who I could call! I gave them some of the Scripture Cake with the Lemon brandy icing as a thank you! 😃
