Brief from newspaper: A child who wondered away from her parents' home has been found, drowned in a motel swimming pool near her residence. The dead girl, identified as Theresa Ann Hickey,6, of 227 Burrel St., Dallas, was found by a maintenence worked at the swimming pool of the Holiday Lodge Motel, 2715 S. R.L. Thornton at 9:40pm, Tuesday. She had been missing from the home since about 8:00pm, the parents told police. She was dead on arrival at Methodist Hospital about 10:06 pm. Obit: Theresa Ann Hickey, 6, 227 Burrel Dr. in Dallas, drowned Tuesday evening in a motel swimming pool near her residence. She was born December 5, 1966 in Dallas. Survivors include her parents Mr. and Mrs. Billy E. Hickey of Dallas; two brothers, Gary E. Wiggins and Larry E. Hilleman; one sister, Ms. Lois Hickey, all of Dallas; one nephew and a number of other relatives. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow chapel with Rev. J.C. Hanna officiating. Interment will be in Ridgeview Cemetery.
