    Thomas Blair Nickson was born on June 29, 1924 in Buffalo, Erie, New York, USA. He is the son of Thomas Barrow Nickson (1897-1981) and Agnes (Nan) Blair (1890-1979). He had siblings Jane Devlin (1921-1922) and a twin brother Donald Monroe Nickson (1924-2014). He served in the United States Army from 1943-1945 and is a veteran of World War II. Thomas married Patricia Jane Murphy (1926-2012) on September 27, 1944 in Buffalo, New York, USA. They had three children together. Thomas taught in the Lockport, NY public school system and he retired in 1979. Thomas was a member of the Golden Age Club, served on the Board of Directors of C.A.I. in Waterford, MI, and also volunteered at Ingham Regional Medical Center, Greenlawn Campus.

    Thomas Blair Nickson, age 83, went to be with The Lord, June 15, 2008. Thomas was born in Buffalo, NY, on June 29, 1924, the son of Thomas and Agnes (Blair) Nickson. Mr. Nickson was a W.W.II Veteran serving in the United States Army from 1943 to 1945. Thomas taught in the Lockport, NY public school system and he retired in 1979 from State University of New York College of Arts and Sciences, Geneseo, NY. He moved to Michigan in 1986. Thomas was an active member in the Golden Age Club and he served on the Board of Directors of C.A.I. in Waterford, MI. He also volunteered at Ingham Regional Medical Center, Greenlawn Campus. A loving husband, father, twin brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend will be dearly missed. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jane Nickson. He was survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Patricia; 3 children Donald (Kathleen) Nickson, of Saratoga Springs, NY, Laurie Nickson of Lansing, MI and Carol (Chris) Kriegel of Houston, TX; twin brother, Rev. Donald (Billie) Nickson of Norwood, OH; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and friends.
