    Thomas Gary Blase, 8, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Henry Blase, 2126 South Thirty-Seventh, Wyandotte County, died yesterday at Research hospital after undergoing heart surgery the previous day. In the second grade at Junction School, he had lived in Greater Kansas City all his life. Surviving also are a sister, Sandra Jean Blase of the home; the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Gertrude Brand, 2413 Lawn, and the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Edna Blase, Syracuse, Kansas. - Printed Wednesday. October 5, 1960 in The Kansas City Times, Kansas City, Missouri
