    The following appeared in the Courier-Post which appeared in Camden New Jersey on Thursday December 4th 1986: T. McErlane Sr., port authority worker Greenwich - Thomas J. McErlane Sr., former supervisor of police and tolls for the Delaware River Port Authority, died yesterday at his home in the Gibbstown section here. Mr. McErlane, who was 70, retired from the authority in 1970 after 32 years of service. A World War II Army veteran, he was born in Philadelphia and lived many years in Pennsauken before moving to Gibbstown four years ago. Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Clonmell United Methodist Church, 516 W. Broad St. here, with the viewing starting at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. He is survived by his wife, LaVerna; two sons, Thomas J. Jr. of Gibbstown and Dennis V. of Barrington; two daughters, LaVerna Dawley of Moorestown and Kathleen Murphy of Bellmawr; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Contributions may be made to Clonmell United Methodist Church, of which Mr. McErlane was a member, or to The Gideons Interational, P.I. Box 60, Gibbstown, N.J., 08027.
