Around 1964, he married Elizabeth Ann Duphily (1949–1980). The couple did not have any kids and later seperated. About a year after his first marriage, Thomas Wager served in the US Marines. His service started on October 24, 1968 and he was discharged on April 7, 1970. On June 14, 1974 he married Janice T Muller in Galveston, Texas, USA. The couple lived in Alvin, Texas, USA and had two daughters together.
