Thomas Mothersdale De Carteret was born in 1908 to George William De Carteret and Sarah Ann (Charles) De Carteret, and had siblings Elsie May (De Carteret) Silverman and Agnes Carter. He married Cornelia Ethel (Curtain) De Carteret, and died at age 61 years old on September 12, 1970 at Maryborough QLD, Australia in Maryborough, Fraser Coast Regional County, QLD Australia. Thomas De Carteret was buried at Maryborough Monumental Cemetery in Maryborough West.
