Introduction

Thomas Walton Saulsbury's father was Cecil James Saulsbury (1895 - 1958). His mother was Gene (Reed) Saulsbury (1900 - 1933). They married in 1919 and had children James, Thomas, and Johathan. He married Erma Alice (Benson) Saulsbury (1925 - 2001) and she is buried in Arlington Memorial Park, along with him. They had children Stewart, Thomas, and Deborah. During his service in the United States Army Air Forces, Thomas was classified as a TSgt (The technical sergeant (TSgt) is the second level of the NCO ranks in the Air Force. Technical sergeants are qualified to perform highly complex technical duties in addition to providing supervision.) He was a veteran of World War II. After World War II, when Thomas was 25, he and his family (wife, Erma and sons Dennis and Stewart) were living in Franklin Arkansas and Thomas was working the pumps at C .J. Saulsbury.
