    On the evening of December 24, 2020, Thuy passed away as a result of a car accident. She was 13 years old. Thuy was born on May 20, 2007 in Điện Biên Phủ, Điện Biên, Việt Nam and lived there until 2011. She spent most of her time at Roanoke, Virginia, United States. Her final days were spent living in Billerica, Massachusetts, United States. Thuy was Vietnamese. Her mother was born in Philippines and her father was born in Vietnam. Her grandparents came from Vietnam. They immigrated to United States in 2011 and moved to San Diego, California. She was born into a Buddhist family and had attended Locke Middle (Billerica, Massachusetts). Thuy was such a sweet and nice girl. She would always help people out and she enjoyed meeting new people. She liked to draw anime characters, paint blue skies and dance to pop music. And, she always had that beautiful smile on her face. Her favorite person in the entire world was her mother. Thuy was preceded in death by her maternal Grandfather Dak Tran, Uncle Hau Tran & Aunt Khue My Cat. Thuy is survived by: Her paternal Grandparents Danh Phung & Hong Linh Huong, Her maternal Grandmother Van Tran, Mother Hue Nguyen, Father Viet Phung, Aunts Hanh Nguyen, Phe La Phung, Xong Nghiem, Tien Chan, Phuong Phung, Thu Lam & Hang Thi Phan, Uncles Minh Ha Ly, Thuy Nguyen, Huy Chan, Daeng Ayutthaya, Jeongtae Kim, Binh Phung & Vinh Do Phung, Brothers Phuc Phung & Teo Phung, and Sisters Khue Phung & Maria Phung.

Thuy, you were such a great friend to hang out with. It was so shocking to hear that you've died suddenly from a vehicular accident. I've always wanted to ask you if you wanted to be best friends with me but I've obviously missed that chance. So, I hope you'll rest in peace and I miss you, friend.
